A preacher from Arizona, Keith Shepherd, sent me this wonderful joke. Do you understand it?
미국 아리조나주에 있는 킷 세퍼드라는 전도자가 다음과 같은 재미있는 이야기를 보내왔습니다.
One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in the classroom.
The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children.
어느 날 여섯 살 난 여자 아이가 교실에 앉아 있었는데 선생님이 "진화론"에 관해 설명하려고 했습니다.
The teacher asked a little boy: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
선생님이 꼬마 소년에게 묻습니다: 토미야, 밖에 있는 나무가 보이니?
Tommy: Yes.
토미: 네
Teacher: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
선생님: 토미야, 밖에 있는 잔디도 보이니?
Tommy: Yes.
토미: 그럼요.
Teacher: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
선생님: 그럼 밖에 나가서 하늘을 볼 수 있는지 쳐다볼래?
Tommy:OK. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.
토미: 알았어요. (몇 분 후에 돌아와서는) 네, 하늘을 보았어요.
Teacher: Did you see God?
선생님: 너 하나님 보았니?
Tommy: No.
토미: 아니요
Teacher: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there, he doesn't exist.
선생님: 그게 내가 말하고자 하는 요점이란다. 하나님은 없기 때문에 안 보이는 거야.
A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.
The teacher agreed, so the little girl asked the boy:
그러자 한 소녀가 일어나서 그 소년에게 질문을 하고 싶다고 했습니다.
선생님이 허락하자 그 어린 소녀가 소년에게 다음과 같이 질문을 던집니다.
Little girl: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
어린 소녀: 토미야, 밖에 있는 나무가 보이니?
Tommy: Yes.
토미: 그럼.
Little girl: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
어린 소녀: 토미, 밖에 있는 잔디도 보이니?
Tommy: Yessssss (getting tired of the questions by this time)
토미: 그렇다니까...... (이번에는 질문에 짜증을 냈다)
Little girl: Did you see the sky?
어린 소녀: 너 하늘 바라보았지?
Tommy: Yessssss
토미: 그랬대두.
Little girl: Tommy, do you see the teacher?
어린 소녀: 너 선생님을 보고 있니?
Tommy: Yes
토미: 그래.
Little girl: Do you see her brain?
어린 소녀: 너 선생님 뇌를 볼 수 있니?
Tommy: No
토미: 아니.
Little girl: Does that mean she doesn't have one?
어린 소녀: 그렇다면 그건 바로 선생님에게 뇌가 없다는 증거가 된다니? |
