| What Can We Do? |

| “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” ( John 6:9 , NIV ) |

What great gift would you like to give to Jesus today? Convert an entire city for Him? Reach into every home in Russia, China or India?
We are often like Philip and Andrew with our meager talents and worldly goods. Whenever such thoughts come, may we remember how Jesus used the boy’s picnic lunch to feed 5,000 men plus women and children.
Our Lord may be testing each of us today to see what we will place into his hands...to be shared with many. We may never know who will ultimately receive His blessings all because we placed our meager “lunch” into His hands. May our faith be richly blessed because we hold nothing back from Him.
To comfort and to bless,
To find a balm for woe,
To tend the lone and fatherless,
Is angels’ work below.
The captive to release,
To God the lost to bring,
To teach the way of life and peace,
It is a Christ-like thing.

| 우리가 할 수 있는 일은? |
|
| “여기 한 아이가 있어 보리떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가졌나이다. 그러나 그것이 이 많은 사람에게 얼마나 되겠삽나이까?” ( 요한복음 6:9) |

오늘 예수님께 어떤 큰 선물을 드리고 싶습니까? 한 도시 전체를 변화시키시겠습니까? 아니면 러시아, 중국, 혹은 인도의 모든 가정에 복음을 전하시겠습니까?
우리는 알량한 재능과 세상에서 칭찬받는 것에 있어 빌립과 안드레와 다를 바 없습니다. 생각이 거기에 미칠 때마다, 예수님께서 한 어린아이의 도시락으로 5000명의 남자와 더하여 여인들과 아이들을 먹이신 것을 기억하게 됩니다.
주님께서는 오늘도 우리 한 사람 한 사람이 무엇을 그 앞에 갖고 나와 그것으로 많은 사람들과 함께 나눌 수 있게 할 것인가를 시험하고 계십니다. 우리가 주님께 바친 빈약한 '도시락'으로 누가 주님의 축복을 받게 될지 우리는 알 수 없습니다. 주님 앞에 아무것도 숨기지 않는 믿음으로 충만한 복을 누리게 될 것입니다.
화를 당한 자를 위로하고, 축복하며
고통 당한 자를 위하여 약초를 구하며,
외로운 자와 고아를 돌아보는 것은
천사들이 땅에서 하는 일이고요.
갇힌 자를 놓아주고
잃은 자를 하나님께 인도하며
생명의 길과 화평을 가르치는 것은
그리스도처럼 행하는 일이지요. |
